Our P.S. 596X and P.S. 176X father's club meets monthly on Wednesday evenings to allow fathers to come together to socialize, support each other, unwind and meet some new friends. Our meetings are always interesting and productive. We discuss issues which are important to us and network in order to learn from and help each other. WELCOME

Welcome to P.S. 596X! We are a district 75 New York City Public School serving students on the autism spectrum and other special needs from Pre-K through age 11 in three co-located sites: 11X178, 11X153 and 11X498.

 

Through this website, you will be able to step into our classrooms and hallways to get an idea of the wide variety of creative programs and practices in which students participate on a daily basis.

Our commitment is to provide the highest quality, state of the art instructional programs to our students, and to offer parents workshops and activities to equip themselves with the skills to best help their child. Through hands-on learning and fun-filled opportunities, our students make tremendous gains in social skills, language, and academics.

​Do you need transportation? D75 schools are providing bus service to the event. If interested, reach out to your school. If you are traveling on public transportation: Bus: M11, M12, M34, M42, M50 Train: 7 to 34 St/Hudson Yards; 1, 2, 3 to 34 via 7 Ave; B, D, F, N, Q, R via 6 and 7 Avenue.

If you are driving, there is no parking at Jacob Javits. You can choose to park at a lot near the venue. MTA Travel Information: MTA Travel Information. For additional information or help with registration, reach out to the Parent Coordinator at your child's school. At the event, Metro cards will be available at the registration table.
